About The Position
The Appliance Installer Assistant's job is to help deliver, assist with maneuvering appliances for daily installations, and conduct professionalism with our customers. They will have a neat and professional appearance and have a strong desire to perform as a team. Dick Van Dyke Inc. promotes within and will train the right candidate to advance to the next level of installations. Entry level doesn't have to be your final destination. Be a pro!
Requirements
- Pass a background (REQUIRED)
- Clean driving history
- Able to obtain a DOT card (DOT Physical Exam) only for advancement
- Work Saturdays
- Time management
- Safety Conscious
- Technology competence
- Mechanical skills
- Ability to safely lift 75 pounds on a repetitive basis
Responsibilities
- Load and unload appliances from box trucks, and deliver items from a warehouse or central store to residentials homes
- Perform mechanical adjustments on door removals and reinstallation regarding residential doors, screen doors
- Provide excellent customer service and care during delivery and installation
- Ensure all lifting is done, report any health, fire, or safety concerns
- Maintain safe, organized, and clean work areas and work vehicles
