About The Position

We are looking for a Local Truck Driver to join our team. We are passionate about what we do and work hard at it. We are looking for team players who will contribute not only to our team’s production, but to our culture as a whole. This role involves driving semi and box trucks, learning and participating in activities to enhance the company's Lean process, and relieving all positions during vacation, sickness, or as needed. Other duties may be assigned. The position typically involves a 4-day work week, with the ability to be home daily. Start times may vary.

Requirements

Class A CDL driver with two or fewer incidents on the MVR
Must be 21 years or older
Must have a good driving record and be insurable by company standards
Must have good communication and customer service skills and also be a team player
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 61 pounds

Nice To Haves

Doubles and Tanker endorsement, preferred
High school diploma preferred
GED assistance available

Responsibilities

Drive semi and box trucks.
Learn and actively participate in activities designed to enhance Prairie Farms Lean process, Making Tomorrow Better, to reduce waste throughout the company.
Relieve all positions, including team leader, during vacation, sickness, or as needed.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Willing and able to perform described duties and assignments.
