About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships. This position performs daily deliveries on a set route, providing outstanding customer service, loading and unloading vehicles, and collecting COD and cash orders. The schedule is Monday - Friday, typically from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm, or until the route is completed, with potential for overtime.

Requirements

• 21 years or older (mandatory company policy)
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Ability to follow safe operating procedures
• 1 year of work experience; driving experience preferable
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
• Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines and requirements during the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to be trained and use forklifts and high reach lifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Drive a parcel, cube van, or box truck up to 26,001 pounds.
• Follow safety procedures per the training manual.
• Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload trucks as needed.
• Provide quality customer service during every interaction.
• Collect and handle cash on deliveries.
