When you join us as a Deli Clerk, you will provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. You will play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and having a positive impact on the community we serve. We are looking for an early morning person to join our Deli Team. We are currently seeking a new team member that is able to start work at 5:00am to break down the daily delivery and stock the sales floor with our Fresh From Meijer products. If you are passionate about organization, fresh food and people this is the role for you.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years old or older
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
