About The Position

Charlie's Produce is seeking a driven, results-oriented Deli Sales Account Executive to join their Retail Sales team. This role involves owning and growing a book of business within assigned grocery store deli accounts. The Account Executive will act as the primary point of contact for customers, focusing on building trust, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service to foster long-term relationships and drive sales growth. Charlie's Produce is the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast, emphasizing people, quality, and community engagement.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in sales, merchandising, retail, or customer-facing roles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Experience in deli, grocery, food production, or restaurant environments is a strong plus.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth within an assigned portfolio of grocery store deli accounts.
Serve as a trusted business partner to customers by strengthening existing relationships.
Identify new sales opportunities.
Deliver a high level of service and support to customers.
Manage accounts end-to-end, including pricing, orders, credits, and issue resolution.
Provide hands-on merchandising support, resets, and demos at retail locations.
Collaborate with Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Evaluate customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
Uphold and promote Charlie's Produce's commitment to food safety and quality standards.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager, including merchandising support, resets, demos, and trade shows.
