About The Position

We are seeking a Deli/Market Front of House Associate to help deliver exceptional dining experiences through fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and genuine hospitality. In this role, you’ll support daily deli, market, smoothie bar, and lunch service operations while maintaining high standards for food safety, sanitation, presentation, and guest service. Working closely with the culinary team, you’ll play an important role in keeping front-of-house service areas stocked, organized, clean, and ready to serve. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous food service, deli, café, market, front-of-house, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food handling, sanitation, safe work practices, and guest service standards.
  • Ability to follow daily task lists, service standards, and instructions with accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, time management, and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, move, stock, lift, carry, clean, and support service operations throughout the shift.
  • Current, valid ServSafe® certification or State Food Handler card

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, set up, and maintain deli, market, smoothie bar, and front-of-house service areas for daily operations.
  • Support lunch service by stocking, replenishing, and organizing service stations, including utensils, plates, condiments, beverages, grab-and-go items, and other guest-facing supplies.
  • Assist with deli station setup, including meats, vegetables, sandwich spreads, toppings, and other ingredients needed for service.
  • Provide friendly, attentive service while maintaining a consistent presence in front-of-house areas during meal periods.
  • Monitor product levels, quality, presentation, and freshness throughout service and communicate needs to culinary leadership.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, dating, rotation, temperature, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations, counters, equipment, coolers, market areas, and service spaces.
  • Break down and clean deli and market areas after service, ensuring food items are properly stored and work areas are ready for the next day.
  • Support dish pit duties, trash removal, and other closing tasks as needed to help the team complete daily operations.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service team members to promote a positive, efficient, and guest-focused environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
