The Deli Manager role is a leadership position responsible for ensuring an enjoyable shopping and meal ordering experience for customers. This role involves overseeing a small team of associates through mentorship, delegation, and internal development. Success in this position requires being detail-oriented and appreciating routines. The manager will also focus on leadership, coaching, ensuring team safety, and clear communication to facilitate productive and fun shifts. The role emphasizes building relationships with local customers by learning their names and favorite items to provide 'Super Superior Service' and a seamless experience for ordering pre-made dinners, fresh broasted or fried chicken, and fresh deli items.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Able to stand, bend, and reach
Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate and build a relationship
Detail oriented
Appreciation for routines

Responsibilities

Ensure customers have an enjoyable shopping experience during their visit and meal ordering
Ensure all vendor deliveries are accurate and meet standard of quality
Oversee a small team of associates through mentorship, delegation, and internal development
Provide leadership, coaching, ensure safety of teammates, and clear communication for productive and fun shifts
Personalize the customer experience by learning their name and favorite items to purchase
Provide a seamless experience for customers to order pre-made dinners, fresh broasted or fried chicken, and fresh deli items
