About The Position

This position requires an individual to perform essential duties with accuracy and maintain a high level of productivity. The role involves developing excellent customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior, promoting high morale within the department and store through honest and open communication, and maintaining good working relationships with other department managers to improve storewide sales. Success is dependent on the ability to work together. The clerk must comply with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct, and provide a professional example for other store team members through coaching and personal evaluations. A sufficient knowledge and ability to teach others all fundamentals of deli production, including mixing, scaling, cooking, frying, and finishing, is necessary. Maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of products and service throughout the store and within the deli operation, as well as maintaining adequate and appropriate department records at all times, are key responsibilities.
