This Deli Delivery Driver position, located at the Lynnhaven location, is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of deli orders to customers. The role requires maintaining a high level of service and professionalism, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and the expansion of the customer base within the designated delivery zone.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years old
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
• Experience using navigational tools (MapQuest, Google Maps, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Collect deli orders from the kitchen or deli counter, ensuring all items are correctly packed and match the customer's order.
• Deliver deli orders to customers in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries and handle any delivery issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
• Report any customer feedback or complaints to the deli manager.
• Maintain an organized delivery schedule to ensure all orders are delivered within the designated time window.
• Communicate with the deli regarding any delays or changes in delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit daily delivery logs or reports to the deli management team.
• Assist with packaging orders when needed during peak times.
• Monitor delivery supplies such as delivery bags, coolers, and equipment and report any shortages or replenishment needs to the deli supervisor.
• Market your zone by handing out flyers and cards to nearby businesses during your delivery drop-offs.
