About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of food preparation duties including fulfilling catering orders and preparing Tony’s To Go orders. Immediately greets all customers and ensures customer satisfaction. Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for recipes. Store and label food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures. Package take-out foods or serve food to customers. Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provides cook with needed items. Complete specials projects and other duties as assigned. Upholds the 7 guiding principles of the company. Support goals and vision of Store Director. Consistently presents a professional personal image and uphold the company’s uniform policy. Maintain safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment. Comply with all regulatory rules and regulations including HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, Weights and Measures and local food and sanitation laws.
