Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably in a deli or retail food environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in food handling or food safety (e.g., ServSafe).
  • Experience with deli equipment such as slicers and grills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook deli items according to established recipes and quality standards.
