About The Position

AG SUPERMARKETS, INC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., operates supermarkets in New Hampshire and Vermont. Customers shopping these stores find the most personalized, friendly service with the highest quality food products. We are currently looking for a FT Deli Clerk to join our Allenstown, NH store with an understanding of deli procedures, merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task and maintain focus.
• Strong customer service skills & effective communication.
• Must have flexible schedule availability.
• Computer knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers, employees and management.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Understanding of deli procedures, merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Outstanding customer service
• Develop product knowledge in all areas
• Prepare, cut, slice, weigh and package deli items according to standards and quality goals
• Cleaning of workspace and necessary items, machines, and utensils
• Complete other tasks at the discretion of the Deli and Store Managers
• Support and comply with all company safety/security standards
• Able to maintain composure and customer satisfaction at all times
