About The Position
Deli clerks prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise deli products, including deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet items, and hot case items. They inform customers about deli products and services, help increase sales by distributing food samples and recommending additional items, and use department equipment. They must follow strict sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene standards.
