About The Position

The Deli Clerk I position at Camrose Food is responsible for providing excellent, efficient, and courteous service to customers. This role involves maintaining a neat, clean, fresh, and well-merchandised department, as well as performing inventory stocking and counts. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with government standards and regulations, complete required training, and be vigilant against the unauthorized removal of merchandise. Maintaining the quality and condition of merchandise, adhering to cleaning schedules, and following all safety policies and procedures are also key aspects of this role. This position requires the use of computers and involves heavy lifting of products.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service is an asset

Responsibilities

Providing customers with excellent, efficient, courteous service
Provide a neat, clean, fresh and well merchandised department
All duties associated with inventory stocking and taking inventory counts
Compliance with government standards and regulations that apply to the Camrose Food store
Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via e-learning courses
Alert for the unauthorized removal of merchandise and equipment
Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets the store’s standards
Follow all cleaning and maintenance schedules
Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures and look out for the safety of others
Adhere to all Wild Rose Co-op policies and procedures
