The primary objective of this position is to provide customer service and perform cleaning duties within the Deli Department. The role contributes to ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and a positive working environment for employees. Emphasis is placed on cleaning and sanitizing the Deli Department and meeting daily customer service needs. This position requires ongoing heavy lifting, standing, exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces, judgment/decision making, listening skills, and reading. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. The Deli Manager or person in charge provides assignments and work direction.
