About The Position

The Deli Bakery Food Clerk helps create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by delivering remarkable customer service, sharing product knowledge, and completing retail tasks related to food products, merchandising, and store operations. The role works across Fresh departments—including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery—and supports other tasks as needed. The work involves using job-specific technology, maintaining product displays, and following food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
