About The Position
Join the deli team in a store and food service environment, serving customers and preparing hot and cold food. The role includes keeping the deli clean, organized, and stocked; communicating specials and promotions; and helping with other duties as needed. The listed pay rate is $9.00.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have English proficiency and basic math skills.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers enthusiastically.
- Prepare food with attention to safety, cleanliness, and taste.
- Communicate specials and promotions to customers.
- Replenish and organize food service supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout all deli areas.
- Receive vendor deliveries and ensure they meet standards.
- Prepare and package hot and cold foods.
- Perform various roles as needed and other duties as assigned.
