Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring portions.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a deli, food service, or retail environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, Will provide ServSafe certification.
• Familiarity with deli equipment such as slicers and scales.
• Customer service training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and fulfilling deli orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats, cheeses, and other products according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli work area, including equipment, counters, and display cases, following all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock products as needed, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries to ensure product freshness.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and support other departments as necessary.
