About The Position

Our Deli Account Executives don't just manage accounts — they own them. We're looking for a driven, results-oriented sales professional to join our Retail Sales team and take the lead on growing our deli business from the ground up. In this role, you'll be the face of Charlie's Produce to your grocery store customers; building trust, solving problems, and delivering the kind of service that keeps accounts coming back. If you're energized by sales targets, relationship building, and the satisfaction of watching your territory grow, we want to hear from you. The Deli Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned portfolio of grocery store deli accounts. This role serves as a trusted business partner to customers by strengthening existing relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering a high level of service and support. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term growth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, merchandising, retail, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel locally with reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in deli, grocery, food production, or restaurant environments is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Grow your book of business — identify and pursue new opportunities while strengthening existing deli account relationships.
  • Be the expert your customers rely on — manage accounts end-to-end: pricing, orders, credits, and issue resolution.
  • Show up in the field — provide hands-on merchandising support, resets, and demos at retail locations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally — partner with Retail and Merchandising teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Keep a pulse on satisfaction — evaluate customer feedback and surface opportunities to leadership.
  • Champion food safety — uphold and promote Charlie's Produce's commitment to food safety and quality standards.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager, including merchandising support, resets, demos, trade shows, etc.
