About The Position
The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey. Delfina Medical Group and Delfina Care Inc. provide a leading pregnancy care data platform and clinical services to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
Requirements
- DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified
- Strong communication and conversational skills
- Experience with Web and mobile technologies
- Live or work in Nevada >= 50% of the time
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a bonus
- Registered in Nevada Medicaid is a bonus
- Experience and knowledge of Nevada communities is a plus
- Telehealth experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
- Ensure patient’s engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers
- Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization
