About The Position
This part-time employment opportunity is through Delfina Medical Group. The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey. Delfina Medical Group and Delfina Care Inc. provide a leading pregnancy care data platform and clinical services to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
Requirements
- DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified
- Strong communication and conversational skills
- Experience with Web and mobile technologies
- Fluency in English is a requirement
- Must have unrestricted and independent authorization to work at Delfina.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum
- Supportive about providing virtual support with both 1:1 and group education
- Medicaid (Medi-Cal) approved is a plus
- Additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
- Telehealth experience is a plus
- Ideally based in San Joaquin County
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
- Ensure patient’s engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers
- Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization
