About The Position

The Delegated Credentialing Consultant leads, directs, monitors, and provides oversight and leadership to ensure operating efficiencies of corporate credentialing services for OSU hospitals. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Corporate Credentialing and/or Administrative Director, the position manages operational activities related to the functions of the Corporate Credentialing Office and the Credentials Verification Organization (CVO), as well as delegated credentialing requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field.
• Six years of relevant experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Management, Certified Provider Enrollment Specialist, or Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist by the National Association of Medical Staff Services.
• Eight to twelve years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, monitor, and provide oversight and leadership for corporate credentialing services.
• Ensure operating efficiencies of credentialing services for OSU hospitals.
• Manage operational activities for functions of the Corporate Credentialing Office and the Credentials Verification Organization (CVO).
