The position of Degreed Nutritionist requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics. Must have in-depth knowledge of maternal and child health and nutrition. Is responsible for conducting Nutrition and health education activities and performing nutritional and breastfeeding/chestfeeding risks assessments for low-risk and high-risk WIC Program participants. Must have a valid California driver’s license, proof of personal auto insurance, and dependable personal transportation with current California registration for traveling to WIC sites and the administrative office for meetings. Must be willing to become proficient in basic conversational Spanish.
