About The Position

The Degreed Electromechanical Technician troubleshoots, tests, and repairs electronic production equipment and performs electrical and mechanical repairs to maintain factory processes. The role requires developing a thorough understanding of the factory’s electromechanical control systems, notifying appropriate management personnel about problems, and assisting in resolving them. The technician also contributes ideas for improvements and communicates them through appropriate channels.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC manufacturing equipment, PLCs, motor controls, and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience working with three-phase power and a variety of control voltages; required.
• Ability to use all shop tools.
• Ability to use testing and measuring equipment and tools required to maintain or repair electromechanical control systems.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of programming PLCs, HMIs, and PC-based systems.
