About The Position

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. You will serve as a defensive cyber operations subject matter expert advising partner nation military organizations on the development, integration, and operationalization of defensive cyberspace capabilities, including non-resident advising on the integration of cyberspace operations into joint and combined military planning using the U.S. Joint Planning Process (JPP) and supporting the design and development of cyber organizational structures, command relationships, and operational coordination mechanisms. These advising efforts will support a partner nation’s ability to establish cyberspace capabilities within its Ministry of Defense, Joint Headquarters, or Service Headquarters.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with military cyberspace operations as a cyberspace operations officer
  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting cyberspace operations or joint operational planning at the operational or strategic-level
  • Experience servicing in a military cyberspace operations officer role
  • Experience planning, synchronizing, and deconflicting military cyberspace operations across combatant commands and interagency entities
  • Experience developing and implementing national cyber operational frameworks and supporting the design and development of cyberspace organizational structures, command relationships, and operational coordination mechanisms
  • Experience integrating cyberspace operations into joint and combined military planning using the JPP
  • Experience integrating operational intelligence into cyberspace planning and execution in coordination with partner intelligence organizations
  • Knowledge of Joint Publication 5.0, U.S. joint cyberspace fires doctrine, and the integration of non-kinetic effects within joint targeting cycles
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Military Studies, or National Security

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting partner nations with the development of defensive cyber operations
  • Experience advising foreign military or partner nation organizations on the development, integration, or employment of cyberspace capabilities
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Military Operational Art, National Security, Strategic Studies, or a related field
  • Advanced Cyber Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH Certifications

Responsibilities
