About The Position

This role involves providing direct support to senior advisors within the U.S. government, focusing on the analysis and interpretation of defense trade issues, requirements, and regulatory impacts. The analyst will apply knowledge of ITAR and related federal regulations governing defense trade, support congressional reporting needs through data analysis and Excel-based products, and prepare clear, concise written materials for various stakeholders. Additionally, the position requires engaging with counterparts across the U.S. government to gather information, coordinate actions, and support decision-making.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in relevant disciplines and fields, preferably in a national security setting
  • Strong understanding of defense trade concepts and regulatory frameworks, including ITAR.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and Excel.
  • Ability to be on-site in Washington, DC full‑time.
