About The Position

The Contractor shall provide training instructions for the Defense Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC). This role requires instructors to demonstrate proficiency in all evaluated tasks, apply advanced instructional methods and adult learning models, and provide research support to students. The position may also involve surge support to meet increased student throughput, participation in after-course reviews, and assistance in writing, reviewing, and updating Training Support Packages (TSP) and lesson plans. Responsibilities include evaluating student performance, developing and administering tests, preparing training venues and materials, and developing/maintaining live environment scenarios and role-playing materials. The role also involves providing input to risk assessments for non-traditional training exercises and maintaining student records and counseling information.

Requirements

Secret Clearance (US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance).
Graduate of DSDC.
Minimum four years of HUMINT collection experience.
Not less than two years conducting strategic debriefing operations.
Newly hired training specialists must have operational experience in strategic debriefing within the last five years.

Responsibilities

Provide training instructions for the Defense Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC).
Demonstrate satisfactory proficiency for all tasks and sub-tasks on which students will be evaluated.
Apply advanced instructional methods and adult learning models to training.
Provide research support to students during practical exercise planning and preparation.
Provide instructor surge support capability to meet increased student throughput requirements.
Assign contract instructors to meet training schedule requirements.
Participate in instructor after course reviews and provide input.
Assist the Government in writing, reviewing, and updating Training Support Packages (TSP) for POIs.
Prepare the Annual Lesson Review Worksheet (J7 Form) for assigned lesson plans.
Provide training evaluation for HT-JCOE training courses.
Assess student performance, recommend and implement remedial training strategies, and document remedial training.
Develop and administer government-approved test and evaluation materials and perform test grading analysis.
Administer tests and evaluations in a manner that maximizes HT-JCOE Course SOPs and guidance.
Accurately evaluate student knowledge, performance, and proficiency.
Safeguard test and evaluation material IAW course SOPs.
Perform training support and exercise support functions.
Prepare and maintain classroom/training venues and materials for small group instruction.
Ready training venues and materials IAW respective course SOPs.
Comply with command supply discipline programs.
Provide assistance to develop, maintain, and update training course live environment scenarios.
Prepare, review, and update culturally accurate, realistic role-playing material.
Provide input to the development of comprehensive risk analyses for non-traditional training exercises.
Comply with established risk reduction measures identified in training event risk assessments.
Provide input to complete DD Form 2997, Deliberate Risk Assessment Worksheet.
Prepare and maintain student records for up to 52 students simultaneously.
Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information for student record maintenance.
Review, analyze, digitize, and archive training records on government provided computers.
Assist in counseling students IAW respective course SOP.
Maintain student counseling records for all assigned.
