About The Position

A Deepwater Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining cranes on an offshore procurement platform in the Gulf of Mexico. This position is for a decommissioning deepwater platform.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of prior offshore crane operating experience.
• Crane Operator Certification.
• Experience with completing lifts on a floating facility.
• Experience with dynamic lifts.
• Mechanical experience or aptitude.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating Seatrax cranes preferred.
• Deepwater operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate levers and pedals to control the crane.
• Follow hand signals to raise, lower, and rotate the boom or load.
• Lift and move equipment or material on the platform and between boats in various sea conditions.
• Maintain and clean crane equipment.
• Provide leadership to construction riggers.
• Conduct safety and operation inspections of the crane.
