About The Position

Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures. Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive. This role requires adherence to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. The Deep Cleaner will also be responsible for reporting safety issues, maintaining a list of deep-cleaned areas, restocking supplies, and reporting any damages or repair needs. Responding to guest requests and maintaining confidentiality are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak and understand English.
Good customer service skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work.
Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others.
Ability to learn predefined protocols for carrying out cleaning tasks.
Ability to follow verbal directions.
Ability to evaluate the quality of guest area cleanliness.
Must be able to perform the physical essential functions of the job.
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

Deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures.
Ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive.
Reporting any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
Adhering to departmental uniform standards.
Attending all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled.
Following established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.
Deep cleaning elevators and other areas as assigned.
Maintaining a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned.
Reporting room status on Room Attendant sheets.
Restocking Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions.
Reporting damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
Responding to reasonable guest requests or placing guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.
Performing all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Maintaining strict confidentiality in all company matters.
