About The Position

The Dedicated Well-Being Program Manager will partner with a client based in Miami-Dade County, FL to design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive, data‑driven organizational well-being strategy. This role works closely with the client’s Risk and Benefits Management Team, Dedicated Cigna Health Coaches, Cigna account management team, internal subject matter experts, and external vendor partners to deliver a total population, comprehensive well‑being strategy. This position blends strategic planning, program implementation, and engagement initiatives to educate, empower, and motivate diverse and dispersed employee populations toward healthier lifestyles. This role is expected to be on-site with the client along with travel to various sites around Miami-Dade County, FL.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Health Education, Health Promotion, Human Resources, or a related field required
3-5+ years of experience in corporate wellness, health promotion, benefits, HR, or related fields.
Ability to be on-site in Miami-Dade County, FL up to 4 days/week.
Ability to travel locally to events throughout Miami-Dade County, FL as needed.
Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating workplace well-being programs.
Experience working with large and dispersed employee populations.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating stakeholders, vendors, or project teams toward shared objectives.
Experience building relationships with clients, business leaders, or key stakeholders and translating business needs into actionable strategies.
Experience analyzing and presenting health, engagement, utilization, or workforce data to inform strategy and demonstrate outcomes.
Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strategic thinker with strong planning and execution capabilities.
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and translating insights into action.
Highly skilled in presentation, facilitation, and influencing diverse audiences.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Innovative, curious, and adaptable; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proven ability to work effectively and independently in a highly matrixed, client-facing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and virtual presentation platforms.

Master’s degree preferred.
Professional wellness certifications (e.g., CHES, Chapman WellCert, Wellness Alliance) are preferred.

Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, and recommend evidence-based well-being programs aligned with employee needs and organizational priorities.
Use available claims data, utilization data, employee feedback, engagement data, and population health information to identify opportunities and prioritize programs.
Monitor emerging well-being trends, industry best practices, and innovative program offerings.
Incorporate client-specific requests and workforce needs into the overall well-being program strategy.
Continuously evaluate and enhance programs based on outcomes, participation, and employee feedback.
Develop and implement targeted programs and campaigns addressing key areas of employee well-being, including Workplace Culture & Well-Being and Well-Being Engagement & Behavior Change.
Create programs that support a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable workplace culture.
Encourage initiatives that promote connection, belonging, psychological safety, and healthy workplace behaviors.
Develop campaigns that encourage employees to participate in well-being programs and adopt sustainable healthy behaviors.
Incorporate programs to promote long-term behavior change such as Mental Health, Brain Health, Burnout Prevention, Social Determinants of Health, Weight Management, Chronic Condition Management, Nutrition, Food is Medicine Program, and other health trends.
Develop targeted communication strategies to promote well-being programs that reflect the client's organizational culture and the diverse characteristics of its workforce.
Create clear, concise, visually engaging communications that are easy to understand and designed to capture employees' attention and generate interest in available well-being offerings.
Utilize multiple communication channels and delivery platforms to maximize reach and accessibility, including email, digital platforms, intranet, onsite communications, webinars, social channels, print materials, and other client-specific platforms.
Develop communication campaigns that encourage employees to take action, participate in programs, and make use of available resources.
Monitor communication effectiveness through engagement metrics, participation rates, and employee feedback, and adjust strategies as needed to improve reach and impact.
Research and identify external partners, vendors, healthcare organizations, subject matter experts, and service providers that can support identified employee well-being needs.
Evaluate potential partners based on evidence base, quality, experience, accessibility, cost, scalability, and ability to meet client requirements.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with well-being partners.
Monitor partner performance and program outcomes.
Develop short-term and long-term well-being goals and benchmarks.
Establish metrics for program participation, engagement, employee experience, behavior change, health outcomes, and organizational impact.
Analyze results and identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring intervention.
Prepare regular reports and presentations translating data into clear insights and recommendations.
Use program results to continuously refine the well-being strategy and demonstrate program value.
Serve as a strategic well-being advisor to the client.
Assess workforce well-being needs and translate population health data, employee feedback, and industry trends into actionable recommendations.
Develop an annual well-being roadmap aligned with the client's objectives and workforce priorities.
Consult with client leadership to establish well-being priorities, program goals, and investment strategies.
Present recommendations, insights, and outcomes to key stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure well-being initiatives are coordinated across the broader benefits, health, engagement, and employee experience strategy.
Attend required training and meetings.
Process program-related expenses and reimbursements in a timely manner.
Share best practices and collaborate with peers in matrixed environments.
Continuously expand knowledge of benefits, and Cigna products and tools.
