CDL, Home 3-4 times a week, touch freight
About The Position
We are hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Dollar Tree account based in Joliet, IL. This is a hands-on delivery position for drivers who are comfortable with physical work, variable schedules, and store deliveries across the Midwest. Drivers are typically home every other day for a 10-hour break and can expect to be home 3-4 times per week. Deliveries are 100% touch freight with driver unload. Equipment includes International and Freightliner tractors. Drivers must be available Sunday through Saturday, with workdays varying based on delivery schedules and route availability. Local drivers must park at the Markham Terminal or Dollar Tree Joliet DC; trucks cannot be parked at home.
Requirements
- Experienced CDL-A drivers.
- 3 Months of experience required.
- Clean MVR.
- No SAP.
- Able to pass Hair follicle test.
- Comfortable with physical work.
- Comfortable with variable schedules.
- Comfortable with store deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Perform dedicated Dollar Tree store deliveries across IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY.
- Complete 100% touch freight with driver unload.
- Drive an average of 800-1,000 miles per week.
- Be available to work Sunday through Saturday.
- Park truck at the Markham Terminal or Dollar Tree Joliet DC.

- Mileage Pay: $0.82-$0.85 per mile based on experience
- Two-day ride-along with an experienced Dollar Tree driver for training
- Training pay: $150 per day
- Safe unloading practices covered during training
