DEDICATED CLASS A DRIVERS NEEDED-Semi Local-Flatbed
About The Position
C3 Trucking is seeking Dedicated Class A Drivers for a semi-local, flatbed account out of Washougal, WA. This is a W2 position where drivers will typically work Monday through Friday, with the option to work a sixth day if desired. The role involves hauling dimensional pressure-treated lumber from the manufacturer to retail facilities and various lumber yards in Washington and Oregon. Drivers will operate brand new 40'/24' trailer combination sets with a turntable and will be required to strap all loads. While the first loads will be preloaded, subsequent loads will be live loaded. Uncoupling trailers will be necessary but is minimal. This is a Heavy Haul Account (105,500 GRV). Drivers will be outsourced to other DCS/JBI accounts an average of 3 days per week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A driver's license.
- 3 months of Class A experience with a 53-foot trailer.
- Clean MVR.
- Clean background.
- No SAP drivers.
- Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.
- Must obtain doubles endorsement within 1 week of hire.
Responsibilities
- Strap all loads.
- Uncouple trailers as needed.
- Chain during snowy weather as needed.
- Haul dimensional pressure-treated lumber from the manufacturer to retail facilities and various lumber yards in WA and OR.
- Operate brand new 40'/24' trailer combination sets with turntable.
- Be available for layovers (paid $75 per layover) and stay in a hotel.
- Be outsourced to other DCS/JBI accounts an average of 3 days per week.
