About The Position
This position is for a Dedicated Class A CDL Driver on a Home Weekly Route. The driver will operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a consistent point-to-point lane between Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA. The freight is steady, reliable, and year-round dry van and specialized freight, with some Hazmat loads available. Drivers will be home weekly for a full 34-hour reset, which usually falls during the week.
Requirements
- Active Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
- Must reside within the greater Dallas area
- Valid DOT Medical Card and acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Hazmat endorsement is not required but may be assigned for certain loads.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on a consistent point-to-point lane.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and freight documentation.
- Safely transport hazardous materials when assigned, following all DOT and safety protocols.
