Dedicated Class A CDL Driver (Home Weekly Fleet)
About The Position
This is a specialized touch-freight position that is perfect for drivers who want to stay physically fit and active rather than just sitting behind the wheel all day. Run hard on predictable regional routes, pull in excellent unload bonuses, and drive brand-new equipment that you can take home for your weekly resets! The Launch Point: All routes originate at the dedicated distribution center in Ocala, FL. The Lanes: Deliveries span across high-volume Florida markets, including Miami, Fort Myers, the Florida Keys, Tampa, and Orlando. Active Unloading: Drivers are responsible for unloading freight at customer retail locations using a company-provided roller conveyor system.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- 3 months solo verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Physically willing and capable of performing repetitive touch-freight duties and unloading full trailers via a roller system.
- Must have access to a safe, secure location to park a commercial tractor-trailer during your weekly time off.
- Must live within 50 miles of Pompano Beach, FL.
- Must pass a standard DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Unload freight at customer retail locations using a company-provided roller conveyor system.
- Operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on regional routes within Florida.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a safe and secure parking location for the commercial tractor-trailer during weekly time off.
