About The Position

Ensure decorator machine is operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications. Assist with operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards. Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan. Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs). Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Decorator Specialist with repair of defective parts. Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production. Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Requirements

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
Self-motivated with high attention to detail required.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as a team.
Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines
Mobility to cover expansive manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar).
