About The Position

Ponte Family Estate Winery, established in 2003 in Temecula Wine Country, is a California-based company with a rich history of farming vineyards since 1984. We are a fully operational winery, producing over 20 estate-grown varietals in certified sustainable facilities. Adjacent to our Four Diamond, 90-room Ponte Vineyard Inn, we are surrounded by 300 acres of vineyards and scenic views, offering a tranquil escape from city life for our guests. Our commitment is to provide benchmark service, with associates dedicated to delivering excellent hospitality, fine wine, and food in a beautiful setting.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Valid Riverside Food Handler Card Required.
  • Valid ABC RBS Certification (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Server) Required.
  • Must have the ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
  • Must exhibit integrity: honesty and truthfulness.
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work varying schedules, includes weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 40 lbs through a crowded patio.
  • Must have exceptional grooming standards consistent with company guidelines.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and adhere to the Ponte values and service standards.
  • Maintain a safe work area and ensure the safety of guests and associates.
  • Ensure all food safety standards are followed in accordance to health dept. guidelines.
  • Promptly resets tables and maintains the cleanliness of the deck.
  • Assist in delivery of food items, refilling beverages and pre-clearing dishes.
  • Promptly run food tickets to the kitchen to ensure timely preparation of meals and maintain smooth service flow.
  • Expedite and deliver food orders efficiently and organize multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Be willing to support fellow associates in a team environment.
  • Complete closing side work in preparation for the next business day.
  • Execute any tasks as requested by management.
  • Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery.
