About The Position
Cascade Fence and Deck is seeking high-caliber individuals to join their growing company. This is a second location that has been open for about 3 years in the Tumwater area. The company is looking for ambitious and competent people to help scale and grow the business. Experience in the industry is not required, as the focus is on finding individuals who are a good cultural fit and are motivated. The role involves working closely with the Project Manager (PM) and clients to build high-end decks and patio covers. Employees will work in 2-3 man crews, sharing responsibility for project success. The job often involves working on large custom decks and covers, sometimes at heights of 10-20 feet off the ground. All necessary tools and trucks are provided by the company. The work is performed year-round, in all weather conditions, and involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and digging footings. The environment is fast-paced and competitive, and requires interaction with customers. The company emphasizes that this role is physically demanding and not suitable for those who dislike hard work or customer interaction.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the PM and the client to build decks and patio covers.
- Be partially responsible for the success of the project as part of a 2-3 man crew.
- Work on large custom deck and covers that can be 10-20’ off the ground.
- Lift heavy materials.
- Dig footings.
