About The Position

The Deburrer is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to ensure smooth, safe, and precise finishes. This role involves using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to carefully deburr components according to specifications and quality standards. The Deburrer will inspect parts for defects, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with large parts and intricate details are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to producing high-quality, finished components.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in deburring preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deburring parts to tolerances as required.
  • Gauging and dimensionally measuring parts to ensure accuracy in deburring process.
  • Understanding setup sheets, tool lists and Operational Detail Sheets.
  • Preventative Maintenance.
  • Pre-start up inspections which incorporate Health & Safety awareness.
  • Work closely with other operators and members of other departments to produce a high-quality part.
  • 5-S Activities
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, including H&S requirements.
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership.
