About The Position

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Deburrer to join their manufacturing team. The Deburrer will be responsible for de-burring and inspecting forged parts for any forging flash, defects, and/or excess metal. This role involves using surface de-burring, sanding, and grinding tools to achieve precise specifications. Requirements

• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in the work area at all times.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Deburring, Grinding, Sanding, Polishing, Metal Finishing, Assembly, Quality Inspection, and Manufacturing or Production environments.

Responsibilities

• De-burr and inspect forged parts for any forging flash, defects, and/or excess metal.
• Use surface de-burring, sanding, and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufactured parts according to customer specifications.
• Work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Keep an accurate count of parts/work pieces.
• Work collaboratively with other employees.
• Report faulty equipment or facility defects to a supervisor.
• Perform other duties as instructed by the department manager.
