About The Position

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Deburrer to de-burr and inspect forged parts for any forging flash, defects, and/or excess metal from manufactured parts. The role involves using surface de-burring, sanding, and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufactured parts according to customer specifications. Requirements

Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time.
Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State due to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

De-burr and inspect forged parts for any forging flash, defects, and/or excess metal from manufactured parts.
Use surface de-burring, sanding, and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufactured parts.
Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Use appropriate tools to remove excess metal and defects from manufactured parts, according to customer specification.
Keep accurate count of part/work pieces.
Work collaboratively with other employees within APP.
Report faulty equipment or facility defect to supervisor.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
