About The Position

As a Deburr Technician, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring that every machined part is meticulously prepared, cleaned, and tested to meet rigorous quality standards. Your work directly impacts the reliability and performance of our products, making you a key player in upholding our commitment to excellence. This role is for the SECOND SHIFT, Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow specific written and oral instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, pressure-testing equipment, and manufacturing software.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently; to make good, sound, and timely decisions & exercise proper judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to understand, track, organize, and successfully complete multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact diplomatically with employees, customers, and associates.
  • Ability to handle and process information in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Ability to sustain high energy and enthusiasm with the appropriate level of urgency as needed.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand all drawings, routers, and process specifications.
  • Ability to learn and accurately use company computer software programs as related to the role.
  • Ability to receive and understand training by various methods: i.e., oral, written, on-the-job, computer-based, etc.
  • Proficient writing and speaking skills with the ability to communicate professionally, objectively, and effectively.
  • Sufficient ability to read, write, and speak in English and be understood; able to follow instructions.
  • Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to be able to read and view paperwork, printouts, screens, etc.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to type and operate the equipment as related to fulfilling assigned duties.
  • Ability to uphold and comply with the company Mission, Safety, and Quality Policies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and clean components using compressed air, water, and deburring techniques.
  • Use hand tools to remove burrs and ensure parts are flawless.
  • Assemble components precisely using tools like wrenches, torque wrenches, and sockets.
  • Perform pressure testing to detect and address any leaks in product assemblies.
  • Set up and operate flow benches, ensuring assemblies meet performance specifications.
  • Prepare parts for dye penetrant testing and ensure they meet ISO and customer standards.
  • Engrave serial numbers for identification and maintain detailed build records in our software system.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment calibration and safety.
  • Assist in achieving production, efficiency, and safety goals while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
