Dean of Students - Durango HS
About The Position
The Clark County School District is seeking a Dean of Students for Durango High School. This is a school-based administrative position. Applicants must have successfully completed the Clark County School District’s Aspiring School Administrators Program or have at least one year of successful experience as an administrator in an accredited K-12 public or private setting. Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain a Nevada school administrative endorsement by the time of appointment. Site-based administrative experience is strongly preferred. The position is a Step 40, 10-month role.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Clark County School District’s Aspiring School Administrators Program OR at least one (1) year of successful experience as an administrator in an accredited K-12 public or private setting.
- Ability to acquire a Nevada school administrative endorsement by the time of appointment.
- Completion of the entire seven (7) year work history in the “Experience and Credentials” section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling and volunteer work.
Nice To Haves
- Site-based administrative experience is strongly preferred.
