Serve as liaison between staff, students, and community to maintain a positive and child-centered school climate, as well as provide administrative support within a culturally diverse environment. This role involves creating and implementing systems for positive parent-school relations, developing staff, parent, and student development activities, and establishing a support system for students including attendance, discipline, and academic success. The Dean will also assist with school-wide behavior management systems and is responsible for student discipline up to suspension. Additionally, the role requires strong communication skills, promotion of shared decision-making and teamwork, and support for student/family activities.
