About The Position

JTEC Consulting is hiring Deployment Trainers with Air Force Financial Management (AF FM) experience to join our growing team working in support of the Deployment and Training Team for the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) contract. Qualified candidates must have in-depth hands-on experience with DEAMS. The work requires travel providing on-site support to deploy DEAMS to new users and deploy new DEAMS capabilities to current users.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
Current Secret clearance
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of demonstrated experience working with Air Force Financial Management systems including:
2+ years of overall experience MUST include direct functional and technical expertise using DEAMS
Experience in AF Funds Control Accounting and Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)
Experience with Financial Analysis
Experience with Accounts Payable
Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Office products
Proficiency with Excel and Access including creating and using PivotTables and complex functions
Ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers
Effective written and verbal communication skills to exceed in a blended government and contractor team environment
Availability to travel 25-50% supporting DEAMS deployment and sustainment activities for MAJCOMs

Experience working with MS Power BI is a plus
Knowledge of AF Financial Management legacy systems such as: Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS) Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) Standard Materiel Accounting System (SMAS) General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS) Reserve Travel System (RTS) Automated Business Service System (ABSS) Commander's Resource Integration System (CRIS) Intra-governmental Payment and Collection
Hands-on experience working with other AF Financial Management authoritative data sources such as: Job Order Cost Accounting System II (JOCAS II) G-Invoicing General Accounting and Finance System (GAFS) Automated Funds Management (AFM) Defense Travel System (DTS) Government Purchase Card (GPC) Automated Budget Interactive Data Management System (ABIDES) Financial Management Data Quality Service (FMDQS) Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)

Responsibilities

Support travel for deployment training activities to CONUS and OCONUS customer sites (25-50% of schedule is spent traveling)
Serve as a representative for DEAMS Functional Management Office (FMO) to deploying bases
Conduct briefings on DEAMS and planned deployment activities
Assist with base Site Profile distribution and collection of end user and financial data; analyze the data, organize, and participate in site visits
Support DFAS and AF (AD, AFRC and ANG) DEAMS end users in registering for DEAMS and assist in identifying required training
Facilitate user set-up and assignment of system
Coordinate training activities with DEAMS Formal Training and assigned bases
Manage comprehensive checklist of deployment and cutover tasks
Provide targeted assistance to users based on DEAMS metrics, recurring critical task results, and results of other data analysis
Provide ad hoc and on-the-job training to DEAMS users via telephone, video-teleconference, webinar, or on-site visit (when local), to include general training for new users and functional problem areas
Collect and submit deployment related metrics
Facilitate and promote Strategic Communications and Change Management activities
Assist with DEAMS Discoveries and Lessons Learned activities at the deployed base
Deployment SMEs will assist MCSMEs and other DEAMS functional business areas as required
Provide support to the DEAMS Help Desk including surge and end of year processes
