About The Position

Join the family at Gullo Ford of Conroe! As a premier, family-owned dealership in the Conroe area, we pride ourselves on treating both our customers and our employees like family. We thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a reliable, energetic professional to be the "voice and face" of our front office. As our Bilingual Receptionist, you will be the primary point of contact for our diverse customer base. You will greet visitors, answer multiline phone systems, route calls to appropriate departments (Sales, Service, Parts, and Collision), and assist with vital administrative tasks. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to successfully serve all of our community members.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in both verbal and written English and Spanish.
  • Previous reception, call center, or customer service experience preferred (automotive dealership experience is a huge plus).
  • Strong communication presence, active listening, multitasking abilities, and standard computer competency.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible to work assigned shifts.
  • A polished appearance and a genuinely positive, welcoming attitude.
  • Remaining seated at the reception desk for long periods.
  • Frequent typing, handling paperwork, and operating phone systems.
  • Constantly listening to and speaking with customers in person and via phone.
  • Occasional walking across the dealership showroom and offices.
  • Strong close and peripheral vision to manage digital systems and monitor the lobby.
  • High school diploma or GED; 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training; Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

  • automotive dealership experience is a huge plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, determine the nature of their business, and direct them to the appropriate lounge or staff member.
  • Promptly and professionally answer multi-line phone calls, transferring customers accurately across various departments.
  • Translate and communicate fluently with Spanish-speaking customers to resolve inquiries or guide them to Spanish-speaking staff.
  • Perform data entry, file paperwork, sort mail, and manage test-drive key logs.
  • Act as a helpful buffer to diffuse basic customer concerns and quickly loop in the appropriate management team.
