About The Position
A Table Games Dealer deals cards, sells chips to customers, pays customers and collects bets, and verifies fills/credits. This role requires providing excellent guest service and adhering to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations. The dealer will maintain a friendly relationship with customers, exchange cash for playing chips, ensure wagers are placed before cards are dealt, and compute payable odds to pay winning bets while collecting losing bets. A good working knowledge of Agua Caliente 21 games is necessary, along with adherence to casino policies, procedures, and internal controls. The dealer is responsible for maintaining the integrity of table games activity, table security, and a clean table at all times. They will also be responsible for depositing paperwork in the drop box and verifying currency before it is placed in the drop box.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in dealing cards.
- Must be auditioned, meet the Agua Caliente Casinos requirements for dealing efficiency and pass appropriate proficiency test.
- Must be able to deal the game in a fluid manner.
- Must possess the ability to differentiate Cheque color and appropriate values of each.
- Must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.
