About The Position

A dealer is responsible for managing the blackjack tables and other Table Games, dealing cards, explaining game rules, and ensuring a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for players.

Requirements

At least 18 years old!
Must be able obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to grasp, reach and bend in a loud, bright, and smoky environment.
Must be able to perform basic math functions and calculate payouts mentally.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with players and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Basic math skills for handling bets and payouts accurately.
Ability to monitor gameplay and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage the table by dealing cards to players and controlling the pace of the game.
Clearly explain the rules to new players, ensuring they understand how to play.
Observe players' behavior and report any suspicious activities or concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Collect bets, distribute winnings, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Uphold a friendly and professional demeanor with players at all times to enhance their gaming experience.
Handle cash and chips accurately and securely, ensuring the integrity of the game.
Safeguard the cards and gaming equipment, ensuring that all games are conducted fairly and according to casino regulations.
