About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Dealer Trade Drivers to join our team supporting our Chevrolet and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram dealerships. Our drivers work on an as-needed, on-call basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting vehicles safely and efficiently between our dealership, other regional dealerships, and vendor locations. Other occasions for part runs or miscellaneous pickups. This position offers a highly flexible schedule, making it perfect for individuals looking for casual, part-time work.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Strong time-management skills and absolute punctuality.
- Must have a reliable mobile phone for communication regarding trip schedules and updates.
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods and walk across large dealership lots in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles safely to and from designated locations, including local and long-distance regional trips.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to document a vehicle's condition, mileage, and fuel levels.
- Verify vehicle paperwork, stock numbers, and Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to ensure accuracy before departure.
- Follow all state driving laws, speed limits, and safety protocols at all times.
