Dealer Services Specialist II
About The Position
This role is for a Dealer Services Specialist II at Manheim, part of the Cox family of businesses. The position involves being the primary contact for dealer clients, ensuring a smooth and professional auction experience. The specialist acts as a support for the auction day, ensuring operations run efficiently. The role is based at a specified Cox location and does not offer remote work. The job involves representing the dealer sales lane, promoting Manheim's products and services, assisting dealers with vehicle preparation for auction, negotiating bids, advising on pricing, and offering reconditioning advice. The specialist will also be responsible for problem-solving and serving as a point of contact for clients.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination of education and experience, such as a degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to perform at a high level and adapt within a fast-paced team environment.
- The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Vision requirements include being able to see close, far and in color, judge distances and adapt to changes in focus.
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana pre-employment drug test not administered, but drug-free workplace policies apply).
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 3 years of auction experience or 2 to 4 years of dealership experience.
- Previous experience in sales support role.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
