About The Position

Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino's Dealer School offers a free opportunity to start an exciting new career in the casino industry. A $200 licensing fee is waived for both internal and external candidates. A sign-on bonus is available for those who successfully complete Dealer School, pass the audition, and are hired as a Blackjack Dealer. The bonus is paid 90 days after the hire date. Enrollment in Dealer School does not guarantee a position or bonus eligibility. Classes are anticipated to begin early August 2026. Upon completion of the class, an audition will be administered, and passing it is required to be considered for open dealer positions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and able to grasp, reach and bend.
Must be able to quickly and accurately perform basic mathematical functions and calculate payouts mentally.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any other necessary licenses and/or certifications.
Must be a current Team Member in good standing (for internal candidates).

Responsibilities

Successfully complete an interview assessment.
Demonstrate exceptional guest service skills including a positive demeanor and calm, steady temperament.
Demonstrate and maintain strong ethical standards.
Be proficient in the English language.
Successfully complete the gaming process and obtain a level 2 gaming license and maintain license.
Provides superior customer service, positively affects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous service to players, utilizing the highest degree of technical skill in dealing while adhering to established standard policies and procedures.
As called upon, explains aspects of various games to gaming patrons.
Maintains an intimate and sound understanding of all standards, policies, and procedures, including general policies and procedures of the Table Games Department.
